Frendship

What do you think the most important, part of friendship is? Friendship can about being caring and trusting and you know, all that sensible stuff, but it’s also about knowing how to have fun, enjoying a joke and not taking things too seriously. I've met some awesome people at Waimairi, who I hope I'm going to be hanging out with when I'm old and wrinkly.
I want to tell you about a few of these experiences, however, I have changed some names to protect the guilty because some of them might be in this very room.

Once there was this time, when I was with a couple of friends at someone's birthday party and we went to La Porchetta for dinner. When we arrived we sat down and ordered our pizzas and our drinks.
One of my friends needed to go to the toilet and when she left the room someone else said we should put salt and pepper in her glass. We all agreed it was a good idea.
When that person came back from the toilet, we showed her her drink, she drank it and then spewed all over the table just kidding. It was obvious that there was pepper in her glass, which of course she noticed,so we poured the extra fizzy that was left in the jug into her glass and look we are still friends, THAT didn't effect anything.

The next year Lucie, Kate, Elise, and I went to the library and we decided that we would play hide and seek. Kate was the unlucky one in. She started to count to 60. We all ran to same spot by the photocopier where the paper is kept. Lucie and I went in one cubicle, Elise went in another. Then we heard 59, 60, ready or not here I come. We were  trembling with a mix of fear and excitement. Kate first looked behind the bookshelf. She looked for ages then we started to whisper what is taking her so long ... guys shhhhhhhhh  next minute ….WHO IS IN THERE said Sue the librarian we were ghost quiet. THUMP THUMP THUMP
----------( gulp )------------ I gulp she slowly opens the door I am hoping so badly that she doesn't see me .
MATILDA, y-yes my voice stumbles what are you doing in here? I was h-hiding from Kate  get OUTTA here and who is that behind you, you two out. We scrambled out. she slowly walked over to the next
cube and checked it …….she looked….. but she didn't even see Elise!
Me and Lucie looked at each other and cracked up laughing .

When I think about those times, they always makes me smile, and it reminds me of how lucky I am to have the friends that I do.
I don't know how long I'll be friends with them, but I'm hoping we'll be friends for life.
