22.5.17 Week 2 .
To make the rocket balloons we had to get two chairs, tie a piece of string between the chairs, get a straw put it on the string, tape the balloon to the straw, blow the balloon up and let it go and it goes across the string. This happens because of the forces (such as thrust, gravity, drag) of air in the balloon so it goes across the string. I wonder if changing the gradient and doing the experiment on an angle, if it will make a difference? The learning in doing the rocket balloon experiment is that you need to figure out how the balloon goes across the string . On the rubric for the rocket balloon experiment I am sitting on multi structural because I have many ideas on what to improve.
